The History of our Founder.
Our Founder has worked in the security industry since 1984. Starting out at age of 18 at the porterhouse nightclub in Retford,Nottinghamshire leading a team of 4 door supervisors in house . From there at the age of 19 he moved onto the town of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire in which he worked at the former Horse and Jockey and Harveys Nightclub, the Eight Bells and the former Rockfords Nightclub in Worksop for a span of 2 years for Bridgegate formerly Dorcare. From then on he went to work in the city of Nottingham at the largest rock venue in the Midlands (Rock City) working for George Akins Snr the bookmaker who owned several bookmakers Rock City,2 nottingham casinos of which The Wilton and the Victoria casinos were eventually leased out to stakis for a multi million pound sum,26 arcades around the Uk and vast amounts of property and land he did security on all of these investigating staff theft in the workforce and keeping the peace and order in any arcades and kept incidents under control across the whole entertainment Group of venues and clubs. He worked Rock City from 1987 to 1998 in which he met and looked after many high profile rock stars such as Debbie Harry (Blondie), Ozzy Osbourne, Poison (Bret Michaels Lead),Nirvana,Ramones,The Clash,Stranglers,Bad Manners,UK subs, Faith No More, Extreme, Motorhead, Saxon,Primal Scream,Foo Fighters, Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden Lead),Oasis,Blur,Pulp,Green day, Transvision Vamp, Grace Jones, Fish (Former Marillion Lead)and many many more. He also looked after Neil Morrissey around nottingham when boon was being filmed on location. He also worked around the country mainly in Manchester and Gateshead at open air concerts moving cash between merchandising stalls and issuing seizure writs to bootleg merchandise operators and seizing goods. In 1999 he worked in retail for 2 years at the Decathlon Sports and Leisure Store leading a team of retail officers, Nottingham. Then a year for the Co-Operative Society and then on for 7 years working the Magistrates Courts in Nottingham, Mansfield, Worksop, Newark and Retford. After this time he went on to work for CMI (Crystal Martin International) for 2 and a half years. In the past year he has worked for English Heritage at Bolsover Castle, Tutbury Castle working for Leslie Smith curator of the Castle from tvs most haunted, Elvaston castle and a number of ex Drug and alcohol offenders hostels in the nottingham and Derby regions for stonham.In 2011 he formed his own company named IC Security LTD, so that he can pass on the knowledge he has attained to other people in his industry and form a company of professional security officers able to perform a great service.
